ART IN DETAIL
1. Opis
Art in Detail is a company I worked on in 2023 while at Bombardier. The owner reached out because he had participated in a course on becoming a detailer with Cube Detailing. Impressed by the training, he decided to finally pursue his dream of opening his own detailing studio in the Netherlands.

During our first contact, he suggested that he wanted his brand to resemble CUBE Detailing and mentioned seeing on Instagram how someone had drawn letters in the brand's name to create an emblem. This technique of lettering is already used in the automotive industry, for example, in the Toyota logo.

2. Initial interview

What brings you to me?
I want to be like Cube Detailing
What does car detailing mean to you?
  • Perfectionism.
  • For me, perfectionism is, for example, geometry. The Cube Detailing logo is represented within a square. We, on the other hand, will go in circles.
3. Assumptions

Target group:
Primarily men (90%); aged 30-66, residing in the Netherlands.
Adjectives describing the brand:
Innovative, professional, elegant, flawless.
Additional information:
Distinguished from the competition.
Scope of work:
Identifying the brand's unique feature compared to competitors, brand color, brand typography, logo, business card, flyer, folder, catalog, price list, roll-up, sticker, company t-shirt design.

4. Description Continued and Result:
From competitor research, I found that most competitors use blue and red colors. There are two colors in psychology that are associated with safety: blue and green. I suggested the use of green as it calms, just as detailing customers are looking for reassurance that everything with their cars will be fine. Additionally, green is a future trend, as it’s associated with the shift to electric vehicles.

The shape of the emblem incorporates the first letters of the name “A,” “I,” “D” in a shape inspired by the circular form of a car polisher.

As the brand hero, the Lamborghini Huracan in green was chosen, and the entire brand identity was completed with circles inspired by this concept.
